Today is the first day of Fall, however here in Texas we are still feeling the heat! The challenge: how do I help our KINDER Crowd experience fall using their senses? Create a smell associated with fall using spices and fruit.
Items needed:
orange & orange EO
cloves & cloves EO
cinnamon stick & cinnamon EO
cotton balls & diffuser & water
Using our 4 senses we discovered traits about oranges, cloves, and cinnamon sticks. We also discussed uses for each item. After our discussion we took the EO's and placed a couple of drops in the diffuser and learned how to waft the vapor. *** word of caution: keep in mind students with asthma and allergies ***
