Friendship Week

Kindness, caring, smiles...OH MY!

This week KINDER and First Grade talked about friends, what it means to be a friend, and how our actions can sometimes NOT be friendly.  
We watched the book trailer for One Love Adapted by Cedella Marley - Based on the song by Bob Marley, read the book and charted what makes us feel love!

I am late posting, I guess I was hibernating!

Snow was falling last Thursday, how appropriate for the book

That's Not My Snowman...


My KINDER group and I read the book focusing on:
the repeating sentence
vocabulary (mittens, fluffy, fuzzy, etc.)

and my favorite...

Having the students complete their own sentence using the sentence stem
'That's not my snowman because...'

The one that made me giggle:
That is not my snowman because he has a belt on that is too tight!
